Shoulder Injuries

Shoulder Spica

  • Used to hold an ice bag in place from an injury.
  • Place the ice bag over the injured area

  • Put the athlete in a “teapot” position and start wrap on humerus and wrap 2-3 times

  • Go on top of shoulder, pull medially around chest, go under the axilla back to top of shoulder
  • Repeat 2-3 times

  • Finish with wrap on upper arm
